Kenilworth Garden Design
The clients already had a well established garden so I did not want to change the whole space - we just needed to get some key dimensions right. The design increases the width of the main patio by moving a large planting bed across the garden. This not only creates a more usable entertaining space, but also creates a beautiful view from the house across the plant border. A wide pathway leads from the house, through the planting to the dining area. Clay pavers and new planting separate the main patio into two zones for different uses.
As much of the existing planting was retained or moved where possible. Some beautiful new planting has been introduced and will establish over the coming years, softening the new paving. Gentle purples from Nepeta, Phlomis and Lavender with pops of pinks from Hardy Geraniums and Dianthus.
