Leamington Spa - Modern Garden

This redeveloped, modern house really needed a garden to match. When I first visited the garden it lacked privacy for the owner and minimal planting meant it felt quite open and exposed.

We agreed early in the process that the fencing needed to be changed - its height and open structure exposed the garden to the road and the style was more suited to a traditional garden. The fence will get a new lease of life somewhere else. We used the natural fall in the garden to create a sunken seating area with added privacy from a weather proof pergola. Deep planting beds were added to bring colour, interest and life to the garden, with screening trees to create that all important private space.
